Good afternoon from Rehoboth Beach, DE. We’re sitting in a coffee shop taking care of some business before we head to the beach and later to Dewey for a house show.
Last night was a great time at World Cafe Live in Philly. Thanks to all who came! We had a blast playing with our buddy Joel Rakes and Josh Schurr. Check out their music if you have a chance. It was also really fun to see some familiar faces and meet some new people. My best friend came with her older sister and her brand new baby Ella. Holding her was a treat. She was so cute!
So we’ve been trying to think of cool new merch ideas. Fun things that you might like that most musicians don’t sell. If you have any ideas let us know. It could be cool stuff that you’ve seen at a concert—anything unique. We have some ideas in the works. Last night a couple girls at the show made an interesting suggestion. They said that we should have bobble heads of ourselves made that fit together like a puzzle and play “One Eyed Cat.” They said we could market the idea with the words, “So adorable you want to take them home…and now it’s not a felony!” I couldn’t decide if I was flattered or slightly creeped out. 🙂 No, I’m just kidding. I thought it was pretty funny. But not something we’re going to have manufactured anytime soon.
Well, I’m hoping that we’ll complete all of our administrative work soon so that we can soak up the sun at the beach! Looking forward to seeing some of you tonight.
