I know that the title to this post is quite the cliche….but it’s summer time. And we just celebrated our 3rd anniversary. So it’s really quite appropriate.
Tyler surprised me with a trip to Avalon, NJ for our anniversary! We stayed two nights in the hotel where we had our wedding reception and spent our days soaking up the sun and surfing the beach where we were married. It was incredibly romantic and the weather was perfect. I would post some pictures for you guys but I’ve left the cord that hooks my camera up to my computer in Nashville so alas, I can’t upload them just yet.
We’re really looking forward to this weekend! The weather up here on the east coast is so much nicer than in Nashville–sitting outside is quite lovely. We’re playing a private festival type event tomorrow in the D.C. area and I’m really excited about an afternoon of music, food, new faces, and to top it off–the headliner is Ari Hest. I really enjoy his music so it will be fun to hear him.
We have a few shows on the east coast before we head home to Nashville for a few months. One that we’re really excited about is a show at the Kennett Flash on July 9th in Kennett Square, PA.
