So here we sit, at tonight’s venue in Johnson City. The Acoustic Coffeehouse is definitely a cool place. Right now a crew of old guys are getting ready to play some blues…at least that’s how it appears.
We pulled in Johnson City this afternoon at about 1:30, scoped out the venue and headed to the place we’re staying for the night. A friend of ours from Nashville hooked us up with some friends of his here, so we’re staying with them, and let me tell you, they’re seriously awesome. Jess, our hostess, hadn’t even met us, but trusted us enough to let us into her house while she was out of town. (She returned this afternoon and we met her after we’d already made ourselves quite comfortable in her living room.) Anyway, she has a bed for us, all of that good stuff, and she’s really nice.
So I’d say, all in all, Johnson City is treating us well. Hopefully we’ll see some of you at the show tonight!
