Consignment Shops rock my socks.

I have a new favorite thing.

I don’t shop very often. Or at least I don’t buy things very often. Every now and then I like to take a walk around the mall or the boutiques in Hillsboro Village and look at the pretty things. Sometimes I pick things up and hold onto them for a while, but I almost always end up putting whatever it is back on the shelf or on the rack, convincing myself that I actually don’t need anything. Which is true.

BUT…a few weeks ago a friend introduced me to a consignment shop in Nashville. I’ve been to a few consignment shops in town and most of them have had nice clothes, but the prices are a bit high. I mean, even if it is a designer dress or pair of jeans, they ARE second hand. I don’t want to pay $40 for a second hand dress. Anyway, this shop my friend showed me had amazing things at incredible prices. I bought two cute dresses that were under $10 each. And yesterday my mom and I went to a place here in Keller and it was AMAZING! Seriously. So so so good.

I may shop this way from now on.

In other, more important news—the new record is sounding GREAT! I know I’m biased, but seriously. I’ve been listening to Tyler’s edits and it’s just blowing my mind. When you write songs you have a sort of vision of what they might sound like with a full band and full production–but hearing them in that state is so incredible. I’m so excited for you guys to hear it!

All right, time to work.
